Pasco County Real Estate Statistics from 2002-2009

This is the second in a series on Tampa Bay real estate statistics. In the first post we looked at sales statistics for Hillsborough County, today we examine sales stats for Pasco County including the towns of Land O' Lakes, Wesley Chapel, and Zephyrhills. This first graph shows the average sales price for homes in Pasco county from 2002 to 2009. As you can see homes in Land O' Lakes and Wesley Chapel sell above the Pasco County average, whereas in Zephyrhills homes are selling for less than the Pasco average. With cooler weather finally approaching, it's time to think about escaping the confines of our air conditioned homes. One of our favorite outdoor, cool weather events are the local art shows and festivals. These are fun events for both of us, Kathy likes checking out the local artists and I like checking out the local food vendors.
This last weekend we headed to South Tampa for the fall Hyde Park Village Art Fair. It's one of the smaller shows and comes around twice year, spring and fall. Hyde Park is a picturesque setting with the center green and surrounding shops and it was great place for a Sunday morning stroll. Boating in Siesta Key - Tampa Living Series

Without a doubt one of our favorite spots in Florida is Siesta Key. A few weeks ago, as last hoorah before school started, we took the kids, along with some family friends, and went down to Siesta Key and rented a boat from CB Outfitters and spent the day cruising Sarasota Bay. We had a great time and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves the water and the beach.
Siesta Key is only about an hour and fifteen minutes from the New Tampa area, so it’s an easy day trip. We got up early and got down to CB Outfitters at 9:00 AM, so we could enjoy the whole day and take full advantage of the boat.
