Wesley Chapel Real Estate

The residents of Wesley Chapel are excited to hear about the upcoming retail centers that are currently underway. Besides a few boutique shops and a couple of big name regulars, like Super Target and Sam’s, Wesley Chapel is long overdue for some real shopping. Has their wish been granted? I’d say so; three major shopping centers are in the works.

The Grove, the first pinnacle destination, has already opened North of County Road 54. This outdoor mall includes the necessities such as, Best Buy, Dicks Sporting Goods, and Toys R’ Us. Most importantly, The Grove will soon house the first 16-screen movie theater in Wesley Chapel.

Cypress Creek Town Center, the largest of the new shopping malls is due to open in the fall. It will be located at the corner of I-75 and State Road 56, and include a plethora of new dining to the area: P.F. Chang’s, T.G.I Friday’s, Fish City, and Five Guys Burgers and Fries, plus many more. Cypress Creek will also offer a Circuit City, Kohl’s, and Costco.

The Shops at Wiregrass, which is being built around the existing JC Penny’s on Bruce B. Downs is really going to bring in the big ones: both Dillards and Macy’s are set to join Penny’s as the anchor department stores. With other highly anticipated retailers such as Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, and Aveda, the area is finally bringing the high-end to our end of town, and those long traffic-ridden drives to South Tampa will soon be a distant memory.
